Rosemary studied art and has earned many prizes in shows for her beautiful artwork. She has a degree in art history, and has done graduate work in art history at George Washington University. Rosemary says of her art, “I consider my work to be somewhat impressionistic, yet realistic. At the same time, I want to show my emotions toward the wonderful world we live in. I am passionate about the ocean, flowers, and the gorgeous Hawaiian foliage we have here. The shapes and colors excite me. I love the Hawaiian people and I feel their closeness to nature and their reverence for the Earth itself. I want my work to express to you all the beauty of the Earth, ‘God’s wonderful creation’”.
